Kickstart Your New Year with 21 Days of Prayer + Fasting, Starting Jan. 1, 2019.

Foursquare's theme for 2019 is "Restored by Jesus." We all need restoration. You certainly do. So does your family. And your congregation. A spiritual, emotional and physical restoration. The deep, meaningful, long-lasting kind that comes only from Jesus. But it does not come easily; we must strive for restoration.

That's why we are starting the year with 21 Days of Prayer + Fasting for the restoration of our worldwide family. We've put together everything you need to lead your church through this movement of prayer. Download your free Pastor's Kit today, and let's bring our family humbly before the Lord, the restorer of our souls.

Welcome to The Foursquare Church of Grenada

In August of 2005, “The Foursquare Church of Grenada, Inc.,” [“Foursquare”] commenced its ministry in the Parish of St. Andrew’s, in the community of Conference. Foursquare Grenada is a Pentecostal Movement, daughter of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (“The Foursquare Church”), headquartered in Los Angeles, California.  We are non-denominational and have been in existence for more than seven decades.  The ministries span the globe to bring the love of Jesus to the needy.  You can visit our website at for more information.

Grenada Church is an active member of the Foursquare Church which has more than 1,700 U.S. churches; globally with more than 66,000 churches and meeting places in 140 countries and territories. That is a significant impact in the less than 90 years since Angelus Temple opened in January 1923.

The name “Foursquare” invites curiosity and continues to offer open doors to express the love of Jesus Christ as we serve.  "Foursquare" is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and of Heaven, as described in the Book of the Revelation. The term "Foursquare Gospel" was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, California in 1922. It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8, displayed in Foursquare churches proclaiming, "Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever."

In preparation to serve our Grenada communities, the ministry began with weekly evangelism drives in Tivoli, Moyah, and Belair communities. Invitations were sent out to all community members to attend a week-long outdoor crusade event where the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ was presented.  Several persons responded and many gave their lives to the Lord.  This created an immediate need for a meeting place.  A community member in Conference, Oswald Bhola (known to all as “Goose”) opened the downstairs of his home to the new Foursquare family.  In typical church-planting fashion we got opportunities to continue to dynamics of movement as the church was relocated in a more visible location a few hundred yards from its first location.

As the church grew, the desire for a church home grew in the hearts of the believers.  Through guidance from the Holy Spirit a portion of land was bought in the center of Belair, Conference, and Moyah.  God had given the land which our feet had trod upon.

With continued evangelism, we received our first missions team from Puerto Rico.  The Bayamon Foursquare Church leaders Pastors Ruben & Enid Nieves brought a group of their youths who presented the Gospel message through preaching, dramas, and one-on-one prayer with individuals.  The church grew in numbers and this paved the way for the first building program.  The team also spent time in prayer walks on the portion of land as we believed God, together, for resources to commence the building.
